The 2008 Bow-Wow-Meow River Run was held on a beautiful Saturday morning
with endless blue skies and perfect temperatures on Oct. 4, 2008!

The event was held at Bledsoe-Miller, along the sparkling waters of the Brazos River in Waco, TX!
Early numbers show that there were 120 participants, including 6K runners and 1-Mile Fun Run/Pet Walkers.
Even more folks were there to cheer on the runners and enjoy the Heart of Texas Charity Raffle. All in all, we'd say there were more than 200 enjoyed the first Bow-Wow-Meow River Run.
